Michel has attended Colts camp before, several years ago when he was just 16. That's a lifetime ago in junior hockey and the netminder has matured at the position since then.
Already in camp were two fairly local young prospects, spring of 2013 draft picks Logan Gauthier (Newington) and Miguel D'Aoust (Sarsfield).
swagger, you have to believe in yourself."
The captain was back in town early on Thursday, but not at the civic complex.
Marly's return and goalies' speculation
head coach Ian MacInnis said at the team's training camp morning skate at the civic complex. "The sled has arrived and the dogs are resting, along with Marly."
Also in camp is Reilly Dunn of Peterborough and Jesse Michel of Port Perry.
"(Edwardson and Lascelle) are out of the equation for now," MacInnis said. "We may Puma Ignite V2 Black start with only one (carded netminder). I can go with (just) one on a card until (the end of November)."Goaltender Michel would love to play for the Colts and he's 19, another point in his favour. The injuries to two local puck blockers are non factors in his approach.
"Marly knows how it works," MacInnis said.

It is true, though Cornwall's crease situation evolved further on Thursday, with the team bringing in a fifth goalie (not counting Edwardson and Lascelle), Mike Krch from Chicago.

"Depending on how we start the year, those two guys might get some time in here (early in the season)," he said.
"Colgate is one of my dream schools," said Michel, referring to the NCAA Raiders who have several former Colts in the lineup. "This team (in Cornwall) puts players in Division 1."

Quince, heading into his fourth junior A season, was a lot further west this summer than Sioux Lookout. He spent time in Alberta and British Columbia, fighting fires. As for arriving at training camp a few days after the Colts first hit the ice, the coach was pretty sure Quince hasn't fallen behind.
"I've always felt this is the place I want to play," he said. "Look at the facilities here. I feel it's a premier (junior A) franchise and it's a Fred Page Cup year."
Michel certainly has done his homework, schooling himself on the Colts' program and approach.
Veteran forward Marly Quince was getting some well deserved rest, after a 22 hour drive to Cornwall from home in Sioux Lookout, Ontario's "Hub of the North" in the Central Time Zone.
